Our vision
We want to provide you with most comfortable vision bij correcting your eyesight in the best possible way. We achieve this through innovation and continuous training. To measure is to know and our knowledge is our head start. The smallest details can make a difference. We only work with suppliers who truly believe in their products.

Our shop

1990: After my Optometry studies in the Netherlands, Optiek Jo is born out of Paul Nys Watches - Jewelry - Optics.
1996: Optiek Jo moves to new premises and is one of the first opticians in Belgium with ZEISS Video Infral, a revolutionairy measuring device for the centration of glasses in frames.
2007: As 2nd optician in Belgium we start using ZEISS i.Profiler, a wavefront-aberrometer to analyse the eyes even better.
2019: The very first ZEISS VISUFIT1000 in Belgium is installed in our shop. The most innovative device to make a 3D scan from your face to completely individualise your lenses. A virtual try-on of frames is also a possibility.
2021: Optiek Jo moves to larger premises and becomes the very first ZEISS VISION CENTER in East-Flanders. Innovation is and will always be our motivation.
